Could you tell us a little about yourself and your background?

I was born and grew up in Timisoara, Romania and presently live in Vienna, Austria. After studying anthropology and psychology, I felt that I no longer want to explain the world but rather express it. Photography is my means for understanding people and relating to the world.It is also the only thing that can actually make me truly happy. My private life has always been such a mess, I have my father’s restlessness in my blood. Now, photography can channel this restlessness, it gives it a way to express itself. How would you describe your style?

I’m more fashion oriented with romantic elements. I avoid being hard and/or harsh, I love to be experimental and always try different things because I’m easily bored.

Can you tell us more about your background?

I studied philosophy in Toulouse, France, because I am French. I am not a professional photographer, even though I happened to do commissionned works on a regular basis, and work for the paper press. I am working as a French teacher, and I also perform special photo classes for children in the town I live in. I teach the kids how to build pinhole cameras and process black and white film.
